Blowin' up the PBTW, still!

Last week, I opened my email to find 5 "you have a new donation" emails from the National Brain Tumor Society, for the Portland Brain Tumor Walk.  Then I watched as it rose to 6, 7, 8... 15 emails right before my eyes!  I'm not entirely sure what happened, but my guess is that checks were processed for many corporate matches and these are what hit my donation log.  Some of the donors were names (none of which Jeff, Amy, or Steph, my top fundraising teammates, recognized) and some were insurance agencies, but I've gotta assume they're corporate matches that people requested after making their own personal donations.  Regardless, those 15 new mystery donations bumped my fundraising from $3,235 all the way up to $4,535!!  Can you believe that?!  I am now dominating 1st place by nearly $1,000!  And Team Sara, Brain and Tall jumped up to $8,168!

Don't mind if I do!

These new totals make next year's fundraising goals a little tougher (I plan to take this year's final amounts and add $1 for next year's goals), but I think we can do it, right?!  With the support group I am lucky to have and all of the people who gave to help me and the cause this year, I think we've got it in the bag.  ;)
