It is almost walkin' time!

This is my last opportunity to post before the long-awaited Portland Brain Tumor Walk on Saturday morning, as I'll be working for a few hours tomorrow, then on flights to Denver and Portland, then out to dinner with the National Brain Tumor Society's Director of Development/Events, then to bed, and then up for the walk.  And I can't wait!!  I'm really looking forward to hanging out with my team members and wearing our cute team shirts and sporting my short hair out in the open.  Although I think the best part of this whole thing is all of the money that has been donated to this cause and *hopefully* the increased awareness that my crazy adventure has brought to this disease/condition (I don't think of it as a "disease," but "condition" seems a bit minor, so I don't know what to call it).

I really have to thank everyone who so generously donated to me and my team.  We are still dominating!!!  I will very proudly accept our fundraising awards after the walk. :)

Booya, grandma!

Hopefully next year we can have even more people on the team and raise even more cash!  Please keep us in mind on Saturday morning and send us good vibes and thoughts as we all get together to send a big flying judo chop to stinking brain tumors (and hopefully not get sunburned in the process).  :)
